Victim in Malden Fatal Crash Identified

MALDEN – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Chief of Police Glenn Cronin have confirmed that Stiven Rojas Ramirez, 23, of Boston, has been identified as the motorist fatally struck by a vehicle on Thursday afternoon in Malden.

At approximately 2:37 p.m. on July 27, Malden Police responded to a report of a crash involving a Jeep and a moped with two riders at the intersection of a bike path and Broadway in Malden. Stiven Rojas Ramirez was transported to a medical facility in Everett, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Jeep remained on scene. This is an open and active investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.

This crash is being investigated by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the Malden Police Department and the Northeast Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section.
