Update on Tonight’s Incident at Danehy Park

The victim involved in this incident has died at an area hospital. The investigation remains ongoing and there will be no other updates tonight.
Shortly after 7 p.m. tonight Cambridge Police responded to the New Street side of Danehy Park for a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, police located a Cambridge man in his 60s with apparent head trauma. The male was subsequently transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. This is an active investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office Cambridge Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
