Two Indicted In Connection With July Burlington Hotel Murder

WOBURN – Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced that two men were indicted on murder and robbery charges yesterday.

A Middlesex County Grand Jury indicted Epshod Jeune, 24, of Burlington and DerrellFisher, 21, of Roxbury, on charges of murder, attempted robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the death of Sanisha Johnson, 34, of the Bronx, New York, at the Extended Stay America Hotel in Burlington on July 2, 2015. Jeune and Fisher were also indicted on charges of armed robbery, armed assault in a dwelling, and home invasion at the Woburn Red Roof Inn on the evening of July 1 into the morning of July 2, 2015 prior to the Burlington murder.

These incidents were investigated by the Burlington Police Department, the WoburnPolice Department, and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

These charges are allegations, and the defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

The prosecutor assigned to this case is Chief of Homicide Adrienne Lynch. The Victim Witness Advocate is Danielle DeMeo.
