Statement: Anniversary Of The Murder Of Deanna Cremin

The following is a statement from Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan:

"It is anguishing to think about how Deanna Cremin's life was taken from her at the age of 17 on March 29, 1995," said District Attorney Ryan. "She was a high school student who had just celebrated her birthday and who had her whole life ahead of her.

From the moment Deanna was found murdered, investigators have pursued leads in an effort to find the cold-hearted killer who left her to die just down the street from her home.

The Middlesex District Attorney's Office has met with Deanna's mother, Katherine, and other family members on many occasions in the last twenty years to discuss new information and the status of the search for clues. And while those other leads did not prove fruitful and this case is still unsolved, we continue to receive information and leads and will continue to follow up on any and all information.

And as the anniversary of Deanna's death is observed, we continue to emphasize to the public that if anyone saw or heard anything in 1995 when this incident occurred, it is not too late to come forward. The smallest detail which may not appear to have significance to the person, may open doors for detectives and send them along a path to a suspect."
