New Class of Assistant District Attorneys

WOBURN – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced the swearing in of the 2022 new class of Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs) formed by fourteen recently graduated lawyers. The class was sworn in on November 21, 2022. The new class of ADAs participated in the Middlesex New Prosecutors Orientation and Training Program. This extensive training provides the ADAs with the skills and knowledge necessary to reduce recidivism and create healthier communities through crime prevention and intervention initiatives such as restorative justice, pre-arraignment diversion, juvenile court and community policing. The training also included discussions with prosecutors, defense attorneys, paralegals and victim-witness advocates about systemic racism, bail policy, community impacts on law enforcement and criminal law.
