Middlesex District Attorney's Office Seeks Public's Help Investigating Lowell Double Fatal Shooting

LOWELL -- Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent William Taylor are requesting the assistance of the public in connection with determining the identity of a suspect allegedly involved in a double fatal shooting in Lowell that took place early this morning.
 
At approximately 2:37am this morning, Lowell Police responded to a call for medical assistance at 105 Andrews Street.  Upon their arrival, police discovered two male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  
 
Keith Callahan, 35, was discovered at the scene, obviously deceased.  A second victim, identified as Joseph Callahan, 29, was transported to Lowell General Hospital where he later died.  The two men were brothers.  
 
Lowell Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney's Office are actively investigating the cause and circumstances of the shootings.  During this investigation they have determined that a person of interest they are seeking to identify is a light skinned Asian male, approximately 25-35 years of age, with a thin build, and a height of approximately 5'6".  He has a mustache and a long goatee that falls one-half inch off the chin, and dark hair worn in a short pony tail.  The suspect was seen wearing a white tee shirt and jeans.
