Middlesex District Attorney Staff Hosts Book & Clothing Drive for More Than Words

WOBURN – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan recently hosted the Office’s annual donation drive to collect books, clothing, and other items to be donated to More Than Words, a non-profit youth run business based in Boston.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office partners with More Than Words by having new Assistant District Attorney’s visit with staff and youth to learn firsthand about the work of the organization. The Office also refers youth to their programing through the Juvenile Young Adult Diversion Program.

More Than Words is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers system-involved youth to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. More Than Words offers young people the opportunity to set and achieve personal goals, work towards and gain promotions, and learn skills to set them up for success in any career. More Than Words helps provide their employees with the necessary tools to achieve success, including transportation, housing and food access.
