Middlesex County District Attorney Ryan Announces Grand Jury Indictments
WOBURN – Indictments were handed down between January 14 and February 17, 2016. Defendants are listed by towns where alleged offenses occurred. Individuals without hometowns do not have a last known address available. These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Cambridge
Stephen Burton, 51, of Boston, was charged with assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 causing serious bodily injury. The Assistant District Attorney is Justine Bavaro.
Ernest Emery, 55, of Boston, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Kevin Collins.

Edward Dever, 46, of Winchester, was charged with larceny over $250. The Assistant District Attorney is Doug Cannon.

Michael Santangelo, 27, of Chelmsford, was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery. The Assistant District Attorney is Clarence Brown.
Joshua Gironi, 18, of Chelmsford, was a charged as a youthful offender with rape of a child by force (4 counts), aggravated rape of a child (4 counts), and assault with intent to rape a child. The Assistant District Attorney is Jeffrey Bourgeois.

Alexis Laporte,31, of Lawrence, was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin subsequent offense, possession with intent to distribute cocaine subsequence offense, possession with intent to distribute Suboxone, subsequent offense, possession with intent to distribute Fentanyl, subsequent offense, larceny over $250, breaking and entering in the daytime, possession of a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a firearm without a license, and being an armed career criminal.
