Man Found Dead In Shooting In Everett

WOBURN – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced that police are seeking a suspect in connection with the murder of a man found dead in Everett.

At approximately 1:55 a.m., today, law enforcement officers responded to an incident at 2 Elmwood Street. At that address, authorities say they found one person deceased and the victim appeared to have been shot. Authorities have identified the victim as MagnoSosa, 32, of Nantucket. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not yet determined the cause of death.

"Detectives are seeking the individual responsible for this murder," said District Attorney Ryan. "This is an active investigation at this time and anyone who may have information regarding this shooting is asked to please come forward to provide that information to law enforcement."

Everett Police Chief Steven Mazzie added, "We will work closely with our law enforcement partners to bring the individual/s responsible for this to justice and ensure that peace is restored to this neighborhood.”

This case is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and the Everett Police Department.

The prosecutor assigned to this case is Assistant District Attorney Jessica Noble.
