Homicide Investigation Underway Following Stabbings In Lowell – 2 stabbing victims; one individual is deceased

WOBURN – Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent William Taylor announced today that State Police and Lowell Police are conducting an investigation following the stabbing of two individuals in an outdoor location last night on Temple Street.   

 At approximately 8 pm, Lowell Police responded to investigate the report of a stabbing at a Temple Street address.  One victim was found outside with serious injuries and was transported to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.  She has been identified as 18-year-old Charlene Ngeth of Lowell.  Meanwhile, a 25-year old man was seen in the emergency room of another hospital.  Police believe he was stabbed at the scene where the first victim was found.  The 25-year-old man is recovering from his injuries.  His name has not been released.
