Framingham Man Allegedly Embezzled More Than $200,000

Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced that Scott Vermilya, 42, of Framingham has been indicted by a Middlesex County Grand Jury on charges of fiduciary embezzlement (4 counts), larceny (5 counts), and false entry in corporate books and records.
Vermilya is accused of embezzling money from Destiny Management in Cambridge and from the Framingham United Soccer Club. The total amount allegedly embezzled from those entities is more than $200,000.
An arraignment for Vermilya has been scheduled for Thursday, July 2, in WoburnSuperior Court.
