Fourth Defendant in Framingham Armed Altercation Arraigned

FRAMINGHAM – Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced that a fourth defendant involved in a motor vehicle crash and alleged robbery that occurred on Friday, May 27 in Framingham was arraigned yesterday in Framingham District Court.  Frantz Petit-Compere, 27, of, Milford, was charged with three counts of kidnapping, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of larceny over $250, home invasion, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of a firearm without a license and conspiracy.

Judge Jennifer Stark ordered the defendant held without bail pending a 58Adangerousness hearing scheduled for Monday, June 6.

“In this case, two defendants allegedly committed a robbery at gunpoint,” said District Attorney Ryan. “In retaliation those who had been robbed then allegedly proceeded to strike the men with their vehicle.  The reckless behavior of all of these individuals created a serious safety risk to the public.”

Glenn Marshall, 59, of Framingham, Saleek Marshall, 22, of Framingham, and David Jean, 25, of Norwood, were arraigned on Tuesday, May 31. 

Glenn Marshall was charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of a firearm without a license, conspiracy and disturbing the peace.

Saleek Marshall was charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of leaving the scene of a personal injury and leaving the scene of property damage.

On Tuesday, May 31, Judge Martine Carroll ordered Glenn and Saleek Marshall held without bail pending a 58A dangerousness hearing. At today’s dangerousness hearing for Glenn and Saleek Marshall, Judge Jennifer Stark set bail at $5,000 cash and ordered the defendants to not possess firearms or dangerous weapons, to not travel out of state without permission from the court, to have no contact with the victims or witnesses, to commit no new crimes, to abide by a curfew and to report to probation once a month. The next scheduled hearing for Glenn and Saleek Marshall is Friday, July 22.

David Jean was charged with three counts of kidnapping, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of armed robbery, three counts of larceny over $250, home invasion, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of a firearm without a license and conspiracy.

On Thursday, June 2, Judge David Cunis found Jean to be dangerous and ordered that Jean continue to be held without bail. The next scheduled hearing in this case is Tuesday, June 28.

On May 27, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Framingham Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Grant Street in Framingham where the people involved in the crash were allegedly engaged in an altercation with guns drawn. According to police, Glenn Marshall and Saleek Marshall had allegedly struck Jean and Petit-Compere with their motor vehicle as retaliation for a robbery allegedly perpetrated by Jean and Petit Compere. Authorities learned that prior to the crash, Jean and Petit-Compere allegedly entered the residence of Saleek and Glenn Marshall with firearms and duct taped the two men and robbed them.

David Jean was transported to a local-area hospital. The other individual, Frantz Petit-Compere, was hospitalized and sustained serious injuries to his leg.

These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
