Cambridge Homicide Victim Identified

Woburn, MA – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas today announced the identity of the victim from last night’s homicide.

Rasaun Nichols, 31, of Cambridge died of his injuries last night following multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities say that at approximately 8:41 p.m., last night, shots were fired in the vicinity of 119 Windsor Street.  An individual, now identified as Rasaun Nichols, was struck by gunshots while in a vehicle that was departing Newtowne Court.  That vehicle was driven down Main Street toward Kendall Square, where it later stopped.  Unsuccessful attempts were made to save Mr. Nichols. 

This incident continues to be an open and active investigation being investigated by the Cambridge Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
