Authorities Investigating Attempted Murder-Suicide In Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE – The Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office and Cambridge Police Department are investigating an incident at Third and Charles Street this morning after responding to calls of a person with a gun and a shooting.

At approximately 7:46 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, Cambridge Police responded to a shooting on Third Street. The victim, a 58-year-old male, suffered non-life threatening injuries to his face. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect then took his life in an apparent suicide moments later.
