Two to be Arraigned in Connection with February Watertown Shooting

WATERTOWN – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Watertown Chief of Police Michael Lawn have confirmed that two suspects in the February 24 non-fatal Watertown shooting have been placed under arrest. Carlos Castillo, 19, of Boston, and Randall Glenn, 21, of Randolph, will be arraigned tomorrow morning in Waltham District Court and charged with armed assault in a dwelling, assault and battery with a firearm, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, possession of a firearm without a license and possession of a loaded firearm.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., on February 24, 2018 Watertown Police received a call from Mount Auburn Hospital reporting that a Watertown man in his 20s had been dropped off with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is expected to survive.

These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Further information will be released following arraignment.

Both defendants were apprehended today. Glenn was placed under arrest in Randolph as part of a joint operation conducted by the Watertown Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, the Boston Police Department and the Randolph Police Department.
