Identity of Lowell Shooting Victim Confirmed

LOWELL – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent William Taylor have confirmed the identity of this morning’s fatal shooting victim as Anthony Luna, 24, of Lowell. Luna was pronounced dead at Lowell General Hospital. The second victim was transported to an area hospital, treated and released.
This is an open and active investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the Lowell Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
