Statement on Ashby Death Investigation

ASHBY – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Ashby Chief of Police Derek Pepple have confirmed that today, March 14 at approximately 12:55 p.m., Ashby police responded to a Richardson Road residence for a  report of an unresponsive women located outside. Upon arrival police located the 58-year-old woman, she was pronounced dead on scene. This is an ongoing investigation. However based on preliminary information the death does not appear to be suspicious and there does not appear to be any ongoing threat to the public.

The investigation is being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Ashby Police.
