Malden Teacher Arrested and Charged with Sexual Assault

STONEHAM - Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Stoneham Police Chief James O’Connnor have confirmed that Scott Marino, 54 of Stoneham was arrested today and charged with two counts of rape, one count of indecent assault and battery and one count of furnishing alcohol to a person under the age of 21.
On February 18, 2026, Marino allegedly provided alcohol to and sexually assaulted an 18-year-old female who was known to him in Stoneham.
Prior to his arrest Marino worked as a teacher and basketball coach at Malden Public Schools. He is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in Woburn District Court.
