On August 28, 2023, at approximately 5:24 p.m., Newton Police responded to the intersection of Watertown Street and Bridge Street for a report of a crash involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, police located a bicyclist, a 57 year old male of Newton. He was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he subsequently died from injuries sustained in the crash.
