[Update - Arraignment Complete] Press Release: Man to be arraigned in Connection with Accelerating Fire that Resulted in the Death of a Man on Pevey Street in Lowell

Update: Eugene Newton was arraigned today in Lowell District Court. Judge Stacey Fortes ordered the defendant held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing, which is scheduled for next Friday, April 23, 2021 via zoom. The prosecutor assigned to this case is Daniel Harren.
