Middlesex Prosecutor Joseph Gentile Receives William C. O'Malley Prosecutor of the Year Award

WOBURN – Middlesex Assistant District Attorney Joseph Gentile, Chief of the Office’s Framingham Region, was named Prosecutor of the Year by the Massachusetts District Attorney Association, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan announced.

Gentile, a Holliston resident, has been with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office since 1999.  In addition to his caseload prosecuting murder and other high-profile crimes, Gentile supervises the superior court trial team in the busy Framingham region.

“Joe is a great example of the talented and dedicated prosecutors that represent Middlesex County,” said District Attorney Ryan.  “Joe is a leader, mentor and great litigator.  He is an important member of our leadership team who is always giving back to train and support fellow prosecutors, law enforcement and students.”

Gentile has been honored with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office’s John F. Kerry Leadership Award and the Thomas F. Reilly Trial Team Award and the Framingham Police Department’s Public Service Award.  He serves as a presenter and lecturer at a number of law enforcement trainings.
