Man Charged in Connection with Fatal Stabbing in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Framingham Chief of Police Steven Trask have confirmed that a man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing that occurred last night on Interfaith Terrace.

Christopher McKoy, 25 of Brockton has been charged with murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury in connection with the fatal stabbing of Jamee Ammons-Maddrey, 27 of Framingham.

Last night at approximately 5:30 p.m. Framingham Police responded to an Interfaith Terrace residence to conduct a well-being check at the request of a family member of Ms. Ammons-Maddrey who was unable to access the residence or reach the victim.  Upon arrival police located the victim, the resident of the home, suffering from apparent stab wounds.  The victim was pronounced dead on scene. Police subsequently learned that the victim’s boyfriend, Christopher McKoy, had been with the victim the previous night into the early morning.  Today investigators were able to gather additional information sufficient to charge McKoy in connection with allegedly stabbing Ms. Ammons-Maddrey multiple times before fleeing the scene.  McKoy was arrested last night in Boston in connection with allegedly removing a GPS monitoring device he was wearing arising from a case in Suffolk County. He is currently being held in connection with his open case. The warrant for the charges in the fatal stabbing issued out of Framingham District Court this afternoon.  An arraignment date has not yet been scheduled.

This is an open and active investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and Framingham Police. The prosecutors assigned to this case are Clarence Brown and Courtney Linnehan.
