On February 15, 2018, at approximately 12:39 p.m. officers of the Lowell Police Department and other emergency personnel were dispatched to YMCA Drive in Lowell, in connection with a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorist who had been shot. On scene, officers observed a Blue Hyundai Accent that had crashed into a cement “jersey barrier” located at the intersection of YMCA Drive and the exit driveway of the Gallagher Transportation Terminal located on Thorndike Street.
