District Attorney Marian Ryan, in partnership with Forensic Science Specialist Dr. Claire Glynn and Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller, is hosting a DNA Drive Day to assist in missing and unidentified persons cases. Members of the public are invited to attend and voluntarily take a free FamilyTree DNA test on-site. Participants' DNA will be uploaded to FamilyTree DNA and GEDmatch, which are genetic genealogy databases used to assist investigations. Participants will receive a genetic ancestry report. Family members of missing people are encouraged to attend. Must be 18 or older to participate, please bring identification.
