THE FEDERAL EVICTION MORITORIUM IS STILL IN PLACE: In fact, it is in place until December 31, 2020; but it only applies in a specific set of circumstances. You can learn more here.

WHAT TO KNOW:

• The landlord must give you a written notice asking you to leave.
• The landlord cannot force you out by changing the locks or shutting off the utilities.
• The landlord cannot evict you without a court order.
