The Middlesex District Attorney's Office has a proud legacy of outstanding service to the people of Middlesex County through tough, fair prosecutions and progressive prevention and intervention efforts. The office's mission is to protect and serve the public, fight for victims, and speak for those who otherwise would have no voice.

In addition to our daily work in 12 district courts, two superior courts, three juvenile courts, and the appellate courts in Massachusetts, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, under the leadership of District Attorney Marian Ryan, provides training, prevention, and education programs across Middlesex County.

Through this important work, whether training school officials on the issues of cyber bullying, working with elder services to end elder abuse, or providing workplace violence prevention programs for large companies, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office continually works to connect residents to services and makes sure that information and resources are available and accessible.
